Teachers looking for somewhere new to study or a place to have students write letters should read this note. The Slovenian village Župančiči was recently flooded terribly and some of the main roads were washed away. Here is the info if you want your students to write to the students in this village. A good place to start is finding the village on google earth and analyzing why roads are so critical to the local economy.
Natasa Jancar, a personal contact, wrote this message for any interested teachers:
The elementary school in Marezige, a nearby village, where a few kids from Župančiči go to. Within the school is also a kindergarten, again with a few kids from Župančiči.

I am sure they will be overjoyed to hear from anybody and especially from kids. Students would profit greatly from communicating with each other. Who knows, perhaps a few good friendships can spring from this idea.
