June 9-12, 2010, The Center for AIW hosted the first of two Coordinator Academies for summer 2010. Thirty-two educators from nine districts gathered at Honey Creek Resort to develop implementation plan for their school and district's role of of Authentic Intellectual Work. Teachers moved through self reflection, planning, teaming and AIW mastery activities designed to enhance their implementation. The final day and presentation of AIW plans was a highlight for everyone as they wrapped up the work.
