Tartan High School Makes "Value Beyond" School-wide

We often talk about bringing learning outside the classroom context so students experience how adults problem solve. Within the context of Authentic Intellectual Work, we call this Value Beyond School.

One Minnesota school has decided to score big by making value beyond school a school-wide effort. Tartan High School will hold its third annual relay race, donating all proceeds to the American Cancer Society. To date they have raised more than a half million dollars.
